Visit and canvass cargo for all trade to achieve target lifting via telemarketing or sales visit. Maintain existing clients base and increase MSC presence/share in the market Update the market situation and competitor’s activities to Trade Manager Submit plan of visit for the following week and make a visit report after sales call in which both will be Reviewed by both Export Sales Manager and all Trade managers. During visit, sales digging any necessary information such as fluctuation of the market rates, competitors’ activity, and other information needed and feeding Trade Managers both oral and or visit report. Following up the discussion during their visit by sending E-mail or call and asking customer plan of shipment, prospect booking, and offering rate. Sending e-mail for special rate requested by shipper and sales must get an official rate return confirmation that requested by the customers from Trade managers. Sending sales lead to destination by copying Trade Managers. Rate quoted/offered other than Jakarta has to be coordinated with Trade Mangers and respective Branches. Update customer profile both existing or new customer including information of customer’s office address, Person in Charge (PIC), volume, trade of shipment, and other information needed. Making monthly lifting performance report and cross check to POD ( For DCA ). Making weekly lifting performance report to be reviewed on weekly sales meeting. Making report of summary QR that sent to customers. Count QR vs cargo secured. Summary of sales lead ( SL ) that sent to customers. Count SL vs cargo secured by POD/Destination Agent. Performing any other duties as assigned by Sales Manager.
