DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Oversee and manage all engine room activities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of machinery Plan and execute regular maintenance schedules for all engine room equipment Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime Conduct regular safety drills and risk assessments related to engine room activities Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Prepare detailed reports on engine performance, maintenance activities, and incidents Collaborate with the Captain and shore-based teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency
REQUIREMENT

Must hold at least an ATT I Certificate Minimum 1 year of experience as Chief Engineer on tanker vessels with a DWT of over 20,000 In-depth knowledge of engine room systems, including propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and electrical systems Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and environmental standards Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
