Checking db instance / listener, freespace of tablespace, running AWR report, checking session diagnostic, checking alert log for error, checking locking object, checking SGA usage, monitoring DB statistic, open cursor limit, check invalid db object, check user quota limit,
Check object fragmentation, analyze the needs of table partition, check for block corruption, check IO
Check DB growth, Find Tablespace Status, segment management, initial & Max Extents and Extent Management, Check if tablespace need coalescing.
Trend Analysis of objects with tablespace, last analyzed, no. of Rows, Growth in days & growth in KB
Check performance of complex PLSQL / SQL query and give recommendation for SQL tune-in
Analyze the needs for index / PK / FK
Consultation from end user and colleagues on experience and best practice on Oracle Database, storage capacity planning and system environment (OS etc.)
REQUIREMENT
At least 4 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Have Database Administration skills, especially Oracle.
Shell scripting OS (Windows / Linux) capabilities for monitoring, cronjob/job scheduler & Email notification purposes.
Basic PL / SQL & SQL Programming.
Having basic knowledge & experience of Windows & Linux system administration.
