DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
1. Corporate Integrity (Report directly to MPRC Board of Directors)
Establish an integrity unit for the Company in compliance with section 17(A) Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act). Lead the implementation by providing both strategic and operational directions
Plan, develop and implement the integrity initiatives/ programs in promoting integrity culture to internal stakeholders
Promote integrity & compliance to internal stakeholders through the formulation of various policies, initiatives, programs related to integrity
Receive, investigate, verify and take action on complaints or information concerning unlawful act, misconduct and unethical behaviour received from both internal and external parties
Advise internal stakeholders on matters or queries related to integrity
Prepare, review and present integrity reporting to board of directors
2. MPRC Key Performance Indicator ("KPI")
Facilitate, coordinate and drive the formulation and monitoring of MPRC’s KPI at corporate and departmental level working with both internal and external stakeholders
Prepare, review and present KPI progress report to both internal and external parties
3. Risk management/ Internal Audit
Design and implement risk management process for the company
Assess, identify, control and monitor the potential risks which cover governance, legal and internal audit functions
Conduct policy & compliance audits
Prepare, review and present risk reporting to both internal and external parties
4. Legal
Point of contact to internal stakeholders on all legal matters including liaising with the company panel lawyers
5. Leadership
Provide leadership role and supervise direct report
REQUIREMENT
Possess at least a Bachelor Degree holder in any field from a recognised university.
At least 5 years’ experience in leadership role with demonstrable track record of successfully leading a team.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of corporate governance and legal.
Proficient in both languages, written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia, English.
Analytical and intellectually robust. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage significant and complex issues and ensure alignment with overall strategic direction.
Demonstrate effective leadership qualities and comfortable operating at the Board level with guidance.
Ability to engage effectively with guidance at decision-making levels (i.e minister from government bodies and authorities). Strong advocacy skills to influence and position the cases at hand and obtain buy-ins from stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and public speaking skills. Debates and advocates different angles and viewpoints effectively.
