Your Role and Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor Business Development as true "Hunter" sales professional that understands how to cultivate new business and how to manage a territory to win net new clients also key client set while being adept at maintaining high levels of client satisfaction with existing customers.
Strong knowledge of IT industries infrastructure technologies, IT solution, services portfolio offerings and competitive landscape that to develop appropriate sales strategies to close the deal.
Subject Matter Expertise and credibility in working with clients, potential clients, and internal IBM Opportunity Identifiers and extended IBM team members. Engage and close opportunities with key decision makers and ensure smooth transitions from the sales phase to the delivery phase (ie hand-off from sales team to transition and steady state teams).
Develops and maintains strong client relationships with executives and key influencers, in the IT and line of business organizations, based on a history of performance and credibility, earning a reputation as one of the client’s trusted business advisors
Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and applies an understanding of the client’s business, organization, strategy, financial position, and business issues
REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, Science & Technology, Commerce or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Thai, Filipino, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesian
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Sales - Infrastructure Services, IT Services field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Utama, Malaysia
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Sales - Infrastructure Services, IT Services or equivalent.
