Use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machine, hand washing stations, pot washing stations and trash compactor. Wash and sanitize kitchen and storage room, tables, tools, knives and equipment. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly and manage inventory. Ensure that clean glasses and dishes are stored in the appropriate areas. Use detergent, rinse aids and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspect, remove and stack cleaned items, send soiled items for scrubbing and laundering. Place on racks and spray all items on racks with hot water to loosen and remove food residue. Sort, soak and wash/rewash silverware. Empty the dirty bebarrasseur bins. Empty and maintain garbage cans and the area around the dumpster. Clean and mop all areas of assigned sectors. Place glasses in the appropriate containers. Dismantle cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclable materials in the recycling bin. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to the manager; and successfully complete safety training and certifications. Protect company assets. Speak to others using clear, appropriate and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to achieve common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties when requested by supervisors.
