Siemens is a global technology powerhouse focusing on the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization. Its earliest presence in Taiwan dated back to 1955 and a representative office was set up in 1970. In 1989, Siemens Limited Taiwan was formally established, and a strategic alliance was formed with the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1994.
