PT KCIC is a joint venture company that was established on October, 16th 2015 and has been approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Republic Indonesia on October, 20th 2015. PT KCIC was established to build a high-speed railway that will extend for 142.3 kilometers long between Jakarta and Bandung in West Java. The company consists of a consortium of State-Owned enterprises (SOEs) named PT Pilar Sinergi BUMN Indonesia, led by a construction company, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. and a consortium of Chinese companies named Beijing Yawan HSR Co.Ltd.
