PT Pelayaran Sinarsamudra Tripratama was established in 1993 to provide a solution for the transportation of break-bulk cargo between Jakarta and the East Kalimantan region. We cater to our customers every need with the highest professionalism and responsibility that is demanded in this industry. Through regularly scheduled maintenance for our ships we ensure the safety and timeliness of all customer cargo shipped. We started out in 1993 with just one ship, and today we have four ships serving the Jakarta-East Kalimantan route.
In 2003 we expanded our services by establishing PT Sinar Borneo Pratama, a cargo loading company, in East Kalimantan. With our own cargo loading company we increase the turnaround time of our ships as well as adding an extra layer of security for our cargoes. The success of our first cargo loading company led us to open a second cargo loading company in Jakarta called PT Surya Samudra Pratama in 2008.
