Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor the company’s financial health and identify potential risks and opportunities. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Budgeting and Forecasting Coordinate with departments to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide insights to management on budget adherence. Support the development of financial models for business planning and strategic initiatives. Internal Controls and Compliance Ensure adherence to internal control policies and financial regulations. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Review and approve financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Cash Flow Management Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for smooth transaction processing. Prepare cash flow reports and projections for management review. Team Supervision and Development Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with financial practices. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development for team members. Stakeholder Communication Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the local project team, for seamless financial operations. Facilitate effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including head office counterparts. Translate financial reports and documents from Mandarin to the local language or English as required. Other Duties as Assigned Provide support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives as directed by the Finance Manager. Proactively recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
