Manages the accuracy of payroll and employee data and oversees the compliance requirements in daily operation to avoid potential risks
Administering benefits (ensures policies are renewed on time so that they do not lapse), leave of absence (LOA), and workers’ compensation processes.
Conduct market review and report benefits proposals / plan information to upper management by holding meetings to discuss the details of a benefits program
Identifying and practicing proven strategies to attract desirable personnel
Managing payroll deductions and managing wellness programs to minimize health insurance costs
Conducting audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure that the company’s processes are compliant
Deliver day to day HR Operational tasks (including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, transfer, assignments, benefits, payroll, work pass, employment certification letters) to be completed within service level agreements (SLAs)
Provide consistent advice and support on relevant HR process to Business Unit (BU) HR teams/ global HR Operations Team (HRSC) and individual employees
Effectively resolve queries and issues flagged to HR team
Identify pain points / issues timely by undertaking regular reviews
Support process improvement initiatives proactively in order to deliver high HR service standards and value adding enhancements to employees
Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including various outsourcing service partners to support daily operations
Dare to step out of your comfort zone to go beyond your scope to find workaround alternatives and solutions
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor degree holder in Business, HR or related discipline
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in Payroll, Benefits and HR Operations
Ability to understand general HR policies, work visa procedures and current best practice for APAC countries and present information clearly and in a manner that is understandable to managers and employees and to answer questions
Knowledge of local regulations with regard to the processing of health and retirement benefits and have experience in managing leave of absence, time-off, and workers’ compensation programs.
Excellent analytical skills to research and evaluate benefits programs to make informed choices
Strong in communication skills, customer service mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive, detail minded, able to work independently and manage confidential information
A good team player and ability to work under pressure and work at appropriate level of over time to meet challenged timeline requirement
Good knowledge of all MS Office applications
Ability to speak and read English and Mandarin as have to liaise with China counterparts
