REQUIREMENT

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or related fields. 3+ years of hands on systems administration experience in large, Linux-focused, self-managed server/network infrastructure environment. Strong Linux server administration skills, thorough familiarity with common Linux commands and tools. Experience in provisioning, installation and monitoring of colocated server racks in datacenters. Strong database administration skills for both SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB and Hbase. Familiarity with common software development environments and tools, including Subversion, CVS, Git, Maven, ANT etc. Demonstrable experience in administration and performance tuning of web servers (nginx, Apache, netty), data caching frameworks (Memcached and Redis), content indexing frameworks (Solr, Elastic Search), messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a distinct advantage. Demonstrable experience in network design and administration and/or network-related certifications like CCNA is a distinct advantage. Experience in provisioning and management of hyper-virtualised server environment using VMWare, Xen, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM etc, or virtual container technology like Docker, is a plus. Experience in provisioning and management of Hadoop cluster is a plus. Flexible and creative problem solver with strong analytical skills, able to visualize elegant solutions to complex problems. Must be a good team player and leader, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
