PT Saga Mas Asia (SMA) is a company that specializes in operating tugboats and barges and shipping agency. SMA provides service in time charter and freight charter tugboats and barges transporting mainly bulk coal for Indonesian domestic routes and other material such as sand aggregates, gypsum, clinker and copper slag. As a shipping agency SMA quickly and efficiently take care all the regular tasks of a shipping company from providing the essential supllies, reports on all activities at the port crew transfer, customs documentation and vessel documentation are all arfranged with the port authorities without delay
PT SMA started its bussines with one set of tugboat and 300 ft barge and later in 2009 SMA established the shipping agency in Banjarmasin. As of today SMA has four sets of tugboat and barges serving domestic market. Shipping agency also expanded its busnnes from Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Tengah, Sungai Puting, Kelanis to serve the growing shipping market in Kalimantan
