DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Providing first-level and hands-on IT support to employees in the Kuala Lumpur office and remotely in other offices in the region.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, mobile devices, and office IT equipment.
Supporting the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, phones, and other IT assets.
Assisting with user account administration, including onboarding and offboarding support, access rights, email accounts, and software permissions.
Supporting the installation, configuration, and updates of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, antivirus, business applications, and other approved software.
Coordinating with the IT Manager in Luther Singapore on IT projects, system upgrades, cybersecurity measures, and regional IT policies.
Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, software licences, support requests, and technical documentation.
Assisting users with video conferencing, meeting room technology, and remote working tools.
Supporting basic network administration, including Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, VPN access, and escalation of network issues where required.
Liaising with external IT vendors, service providers, and hardware suppliers when necessary.
Ensuring IT support is delivered in a timely, professional, and user-friendly manner.
Following internal policies relating to IT security, data protection, confidentiality, and system access.
REQUIREMENT
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support / desktop support or a similar technical support role.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and common business applications.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, scanners, network connectivity, and user access issues.
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, cybersecurity practices, and IT asset management.
Experience in a professional services, legal, consulting, or corporate office environment would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or other languages would be an added advantage.
A proactive, structured, and service-oriented working style.
Ability to work independently in Kuala Lumpur while coordinating remotely with the IT Manager in Singapore.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise support requests.
A high level of confidentiality, reliability, and professionalism.
