DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

• To execute the administration, reconciliation, and clean-up of tax clearance matters, including CP22A processing, withheld salary settlements, and outstanding payroll tax exposures, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian tax regulations. • To execute all post-payroll financial activities, including statutory and non-statutory transactions, off-cycle payments, new hire payroll adjustments (Regular 2), salary withholdings, recoveries, and other payroll-related account movements. • To identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, variances, and systemic issues arising from payroll transactions, reconciliations, or legacy records, and to implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Execute and administer day-to-day payroll operations in accordance with established procedures. • Perform payroll processes and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and required service standards are met. • Provide operational support, guidance, and resolution for payroll-related queries. • Support the implementation and administration of HR benefits in line with approved policies. • Ensure payroll activities comply with HR policies and procedures, collective agreements, and applicable rulings.
REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on working experience in accounting, or accounts related function, preferably in a role involving reconciliation, transaction management, or financial controls. • Candidates with broader finance or payroll exposure, combined with strong reconciliation discipline and the ability to work independently with general supervision, will be favorably considered as an added advantage. • Possession of, or progress towards, a recognized professional accounting qualification is an added advantage, including but not limited to ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent. • Professional certification or formal training related to payroll management, payroll compliance, or HR payroll operations is an added advantage. • Membership with a recognized professional body in accounting, finance, or human resources is desirable. • Candidates without formal professional accreditation but with strong hands-on experience in payroll account reconciliation, statutory compliance, and audit support will also be considered. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Audit, and external parties such as LHDN. • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, ensuring all reconciliations, submissions, and supporting materials are complete, accurate, and audit-ready. • Commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant, and timely outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership over assigned responsibilities. • Ability to work independently with general guidance, demonstrating sound judgement and professionalism consistent with Level D role expectations. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling payroll, employee, and statutory information.
