· Own all accounting operations across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
· Manage and maintain the ERP system, including chart of accounts, cost centres, and entity structures
· Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense postings
· Execute and control supplier, vendor, and expense payments across multi-currency bank accounts
· Maintain clean, reconciled supplier and customer ledgers at all times
· Actively manage monthly close processes, ensuring on time and error free reporting
· Review, challenge, and control expenses to ensure accurate cost allocation by deal and entity
· Perform detailed P&L reviews to ensure deal level margin accuracy
· Track and analyse cost per deal, identifying margin leakage and recommending corrective actions
· Build and maintain real time cash flow visibility aligned to trading cycles
· Optimise working capital through payment term management, collections, and cash timing strategies
· Manage FX exposure across multiple currencies, including booking and tracking forward contracts
· Monitor FX gains and losses and assess impact on deal margins
· Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations with zero outstanding items
· Act as the primary finance contact with banking partners
· Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
· Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and documentation across regions
· Ensure accurate VAT filings and coordinate international tax compliance with external advisors
· Maintain audit ready financial records and supporting documentation
· Continuously improve finance processes, controls, and reporting as the business scales
REQUIREMENT
· Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
· 4 to 8 years of experience in accounting roles within trading, distribution, or multi entity environments
· Proven experience managing intercompany accounting across different jurisdictions
· Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and exposure to international tax environments
· Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Odoo or similar
· Hands on experience executing payments and managing cash, not just recording transactions
· Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and FX exposure
· Demonstrated ability to improve cash flow, control costs, and protect margins
· Candidates must be based in the UAE (preference for immediately available candidates)
