Accounting and statutory support
· Support statutory accounting activities by reviewing schedules, ensuring compliance with IFRS and validating the accuracy of provided reconciliations.
· Assist with year‑end close through analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss movements, ensuring clarity and completeness of supporting documents.
· Ensure financial information is consistent, logically structured and aligned with reporting standards.
Tax review and analysis
· Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax workings, summaries and required supporting documentation.
· Review and analyse tax positions and associated movements, assessing their impact on cash flow, profitability and overall financial reporting.
· Finalise tax‑related schedules and analytical notes for internal and external stakeholders.
Financial analysis, reporting and consolidation
· Review management accounts and financial statements with a strong analytical and accounting focus.
· Perform detailed analysis on group financial performance including trends, margins, cost drivers and variances.
· Identify unusual movements, risks and explanations within the accounts and communicate insights to leadership.
· Prepare structured financial summaries, dashboards and commentary for executive review.
Financial modelling and scenario analysis
· Build and maintain financial models to support planning, decision‑making and investor‑related discussions.
· Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing across key financial variables to support strategic evaluation.
· Assess financial outcomes linked to operational changes, growth initiatives or cost pressures.
Investor and executive reporting
· Assist in preparing financial information, investor reports and lender‑related packs as required.
· Support the CEO with the development of presentations, financial explanations and ad hoc analytical requests.
· Respond to performance, tax, structure or forecasting queries raised by senior leadership.
Coordination and support
· Work closely with the finance team to obtain accurate data and ensure timely flow of information.
· Liaise with external advisors where needed on tax or reporting matters.
· Provide additional analytical and accounting capacity to advance the priorities of the CEO Office.
REQUIREMENT
· Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
· 5 to 7 years of experience within finance
· Strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
· Working knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax.
· Experience supporting senior leadership or investor reporting is preferred.
· Clear communication skills with ability to translate data into structured insights.
· Experience with M&A would be advantageous
· Professional judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information.
· Candidates must be based in the UAE
