Responsible for achieving sales targets/performance by proper utilization of allocated resources and investments as well responsible for market development, distribution and product penetration in respective territories.
Conduct and lead monthly/quarterly regional business review meeting to coordinate about sales KPI’s and strategy with ASM’s and distributor (including sub-distributor)
Set clear performance standards and operation based on business strategy and goals to ASM’s and distributor and ensure all the KPI’s are communicated flawlessly to the team.
Responsible for coverage strategy and supporting the team in the design of maximum coverage strategy based on region’s population, profile, number of outlets and business potential.
Builds, develops, and strengthens distribution infrastructure includes define clear sales target both value and volume, monitor sales performance also sales force headcount requirement in each distributor and sub-distributor branches.
Achieve distribution width/coverage by expanding to new geographies and new channel or customer opportunities within dedicated region. Work closely with distributor on coverage area to do sales and distribution plan and drive excellent implementation.
Managing end to end process of sales movements through distributor including stock/forecast, service level, coverage, outlet transaction, item sold and the process improvement continuously.
Conduct achievement review and periodically appraisals of the achievement of each team member against pre-determined standards of achievement to identify the area of strengths and improvements.
Coaching and development through giving on the job coaching for the team to develop their performance and process efficiency.
Develop and implement training plans through consultation with Head of Sales and/or HR to develop the performance of the team in their current role and prepare them for their future roles.
Build strong partnership with potential customers and key stakeholders in respective areas includes maintain mutual collaboration with outlets (Pharmacy stores, PBF/Wholesaler, Midwives/IBI, Local Modern Trade and Provision/General Trade Stores)
Owns & drives all key sales initiatives originated Head Offices includes ensuring all trade or consumer programs are being shared and implemented properly in each distributor branches
Monitoring of competition, market and providing of constant feedback to Head Offices on competitor activities and threat and give suggestions on how to compete better and lead the market.
Liaising with the Trade Marketing and Marketing team to ensure that adequate trade marketing/marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region. Also, drive local campaign initiatives that align with the area's needs to grow the business.
Control and track budget investment spending for key customers within the region, coordinating with Trade Marketing to evaluate investment results and identify opportunities to enhance sales performance.
Ensures that all field sales team members & distributors completely comply with the company’s sales system & processes and follow ethical business practices
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor degree in all major with minimum 7 years of experience in area sales/commercial, especially in OTC/Pharmaceutical industry and or FMCG and 3 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager.
Strong experiences and knowledge of field sales and distributor management.
Result Driven and strong ability to identify problems & come up with hypotheses and solutions
Superior communication, leadership and people management skill.
Having a dynamic and agile personality.
Experience of influencing and engaging senior management in own/customer organizations.
Proven interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
Possess ability in managing and analyzing data to generate key insights
Ability to communicate in written and spoken English & Bahasa
