Revenue Recognition: Manage and review revenue recognition processes for advertising contracts, including bookings, invoicing, and collections. Ensure compliance with accounting standards specific to the OOH media industry.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports tailored to the OOH sector, including media revenue, expenses, and performance metrics. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with GAAP and industry practices.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts specific to media operations. Analyze financial performance and variances to provide actionable insights.
Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries related to media revenues and accounting practices.
Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations related to media revenue and expense management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior accounting staff. Provide guidance on industry-specific accounting issues and ensure the team's adherence to best practices.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with senior or supervisory role, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly in the OOH media industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing cross-functional relationships.
