DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Planning and designing the ISP backbone transmission network architecture, including the selection of appropriate technologies and devices (e.g., DWDM OTN, ROADM/OADM in the backbone network). Conduct capacity analysis and bandwidth requirements for backbone networks. Designing transmission infrastructure development and expansion plans in accordance with technology trends and customer demand. Conduct evaluations of current transmission technologies, including but not limited to, optical transport and IP backbone technologies. Identify and recommend efficient and cost-effective technology solutions for improving network quality. Collaborate with vendors and partners to define and select required network hardware and software. Monitor and analyze transmission network performance to ensure its stability and reliability. Conduct problem analysis at transmission level, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years experience in the telecommunications industry with a focus on planning and management of ISP backbone transmission networks. Experience in designing and managing backbone networks using technologies such as SDH, DWDM Backbone. Professional certification such as from DWDM Vendors: NOKIA, HUAWEI, ECI-RIBBON, INFINERA and CIENA (DWDM-OTN, WDM, ROADM) or others in the field of Telecommunication networks is an added value. Experience with network planning and simulation tools or other transmission planning tools.
