Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats. Configure and manage security appliances (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.). Implement security hardening for servers, workstations, and mobile devices by deploying, managing endpoint detection & response (EDR) solutions. Monitor and analyze system logs for security anomalies (Cloud, IAM, active directory administration, Microsoft Azzure – Office 365). Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) following best practices by implementing Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies and security controls. Investigate security breaches and recommend countermeasures by developing incident response plans and lead security investigations and performing threat hunting and analyze emerging cyber threats. Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.) by conducting regular security audits and risk assessments and providing recommendations to strengthen cybersecurity posture, security automation and scripting. Automate security processes using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible and implementing Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions. Perform regular system and application patching, ensure systems are up-to-date and secure. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, coordinate with vendors and internal teams as necessary.
