DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Own month-end close: journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and reporting Lead AP/AR end-to-end (supplier payments, client invoicing, collections, credit control) Manage cashflow forecasting and working capital (you’ll be the early-warning system) Oversee event/project costing: budgets vs actuals, margin tracking, profitability by event Ensure VAT compliance (UAE): filings, documentation, audit trail, and best practice Maintain strong internal controls across payments, approvals, and procurement spend Prepare management accounts and clear dashboards for leadership (no fluff) Coordinate with external auditors / tax advisors when required Support commercial decisions: pricing, payment terms, supplier negotiations, and risk
REQUIREMENT

What we’re looking for Proven Finance Manager / Chief Accountant experience (ideally events, hospitality, media, or project-based businesses) Strong accounting fundamentals (GL, close, reconciliations, controls) Confident with UAE VAT and practical compliance Solid Excel skills; comfortable working with accounting/ERP systems Commercial mindset: you understand margins, cash, and how events actually run Calm under pressure, detail-driven, and able to push back when needed Nice to have Experience with multi-entity reporting or high-volume supplier/client transactions Team leadership experience (even small teams) Immediate/short notice availability
