As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services to support the company’s evolving needs. Your role will involve ensuring system scalability, security, and reliability while maintaining cost efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-based solutions, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud computing, proficiency in major cloud platforms, and a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure for our React website and backend services on AWS.
Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS solutions using Terraform and other IaC tools.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD workflows and automated deployments.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Evaluate specific scenarios and recommend appropriate AWS products or services (or alternatives from other vendors).
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
REQUIREMENT
Proven experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Strong expertise with IaC tools, especially Terraform.
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
Ability to determine the best cloud product or service for specific use cases.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
Understanding of networking, security best practices, and identity management in AWS.
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
(Bonus) Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
