Overall site planning, coordination and management to ensure completion of works within required standards, quality and targeted schedules.
Work closely with management team to establish and control project budget, claims and manpower planning.
To consult with Management Team concerning operational and design requirements for new buildings or properties.
Follow-up during the pre-construction stage approvals from the relevant authorities on the feasibility studies, schematic designs and budgets, design briefs for final design, structural requirements, plant layout, and services and equipment.
Follow quality control policies to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with specifications, standards, quality guidelines, safety regulations on site and contractual obligations.
Follow up on contracts administration, construction claims and contractual issues.
Preparation and execution of Project Implementation Plan and Project Quality Plan.
To plan, organize, oversee and manage the building & construction projects.
In charge of overall day-to-day construction activities on site.
To monitor and assist construction manager on all site matters.
To supervise construction work and to manage construction contracts.
To review sub-contractors’ performance and evaluate progress of works and claims.
Monitor and ensure that the appointed architect makes through inspect prior to the expiry of defects liability period.
Ensure all construction staff is briefed on Quality, Safety & Health and Environmental Policy and that they execute the works in accordance with the policy.
Interface with Employer's Representative and Superintending Officer's Representative at job site to review the technical matters.
To analyze on project progress to ensure achievement and meeting project timeline.
Bachelor Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related. Background in Construction & Project Management.
Preferable candidates with work experience in consultancy firms.
Must have proven track record of minimum 3 years of handling major high rise residential and mixed commercial properties.
Possess sound knowledge and experience in conducting feasibility studies, project planning, contract administration, construction methodology and authority liaisons.
Good leadership and problem solving skills in managing team of site personnel, sub contractors, consultants and authorities.
Hands-on, result oriented & ability to work under tight deadlines and changing environment.
Have an eye for details and meticulous in enforcing high standards of construction work.
Strong sense of responsibility, pleasant personality & good interpersonal skill.
Proficient in both written in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to speak Mandarin is value added for this job.
