Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities Help develop cloud based software solutionsUnderstand customer requirements and convert into tailored software solutions. Provide assistance to customer support teamWork with Vendors and 3rd party software developers. Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly updates of business. Develop and manage e-commerce websites and web applicationsAnalyze, design, code, debug, test, document and deploy applicationsMagento Extension development - Installing/Developing/TroubleshootingWrite well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standardsIntegration of 3rd Party Services and APIs - Zoho, CMS/CRM/ERP/Payment/Shipping etc. Administration and support of the Magento and MySQL database platformsCan understand the goals and create strategies for each projectParticipate in project and deployment planningCollaborates in project meetings, sets priorities, communicates status of projects Work Experience Requirements - This is a "junior" or "graduate" role and is primarly focused on recent graduats however apart from universty degree experience in software developmentDetailed programming knowledge in a broad range of technologiesExtensive experience of PHP and MySQLExposure on Magento, CMS, CodeIgniter, OpenCart as well as Javascript libraries such as jQueryDemonstrable knowledge of XML , XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards Demonstrable source control experience. Main contributor of two or more published-commerce websitesUX/UI design experience is a plusQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in ecommerce and/or SaaS business technologyAbility to multitask and monitor several projects and accounts on a daily basisAbility to work well under pressure and manage time effectivelyAbility to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box ideasAbility to work independently or in a team Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Required language(s): English Required Skill(s): Developer, experience of PHP and MySQL, Magento, CMS, CodeIgniter, OpenCart, XML, XHTML, CSS, API integration, Payment Gateways, XML Preferably Manager/Assistant Manager specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
