DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
To ensure that the condition of the vehicle is acceptable for pickup of containers collected /delivered.
To support the OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations.
To adhere and to comply with all Singapore ports rules and regulations.
Familiarization of PSA port procedures with Singapore routes.
Ensure the trailers is in good condition prior to mounting the containers.
Conduct pre operational check on the prime mover and chassis before executing the job.
Transport container and goods according to the assigned schedule.
Ensure containers are collected in good conditions.
Truck container from PSA to customer and vice versa.
Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle’s road worthiness before use & maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to Planner for rectification.
Other Adhoc duties assigned by Planners.
REQUIREMENT
Minimum Class 4 / 5 driving license.
Familiar with Singapore routes.
Capable to work independently.
Able to work overtime hours. (Preferred)
Willing to take responsibility and accountability of their roles.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in PSA, Jurong Port and Keppel Distripark.
Good driving records.
Possess at least Primary/Secondary School educational qualification.
