    The Director of Merchandising (Knit and Woven) will professionally manage and develop a good business relationship between fellow merchandising teams, sub-ordinates from the Supporting teams, the customers and the factories' representatives to carry out routine merchandising activities for business development. You are required to have a good global knowledge of woven garment sourcing, ideally with strong knowledge of performance wear on pants and bottoms related products. By understanding customers' expectations and requirements, strategically allocate the orders amongst the company's strategic factory partners. Working closely with the Vice President, you will lead, analyse and establish business strategies to ensure cost effectiveness amongst responsible merchandising team structure that aligns with the company planning for efficiency Identify potential vendors/countries to support a strategic business growth plan for both the customers and factory partners Development of existing and new relationship with vendor partners and coordination with supporting teams to assure sample and production performance Interact with Product Development teams to offer new market trends & developments to customers seasonally. Continuously follow up with buyers on their development expectations and give directional influences and interpretations to her vendors and mills partners to prepare for the right offer beginning of the season Shows initiative in providing leadership in team projects with QA, Merchandising members as well as on factories personnel on a proven factory matrix Travelling to customers or the off-shore factories is also required for the Director of Merchandising to participate in meetings about programs and new developments
