DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Plan, direct, manage and monitor the schedules of delivery drivers, transport and distribution activities so that the organization's goods and materials are transported safely and cost-effectively and that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy while managing the country wide deliveries
Measure and report the effectiveness of logistic activities and team’s performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Responds to routine internal and customer inquiries on delivery times and the status of shipments and orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Effective and efficient coordination with other departments
Ensure that the inbound and outbound movement of goods are executed smoothly, quickly, and accurately.
REQUIREMENT
BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
Minimum 5+ experience in logistics with courier company preferably within UAE
Experience in warehouse operations, record keeping and customer complaints
Experience in logistics / freight forwarding / shipping of goods in Dubai
Effective supervisory skills with an ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven capacity to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of logistics software packages and MS Office proficiency
The successful candidate must be a resident of the UAE, have consistent experience in route planning and management of a delivery team and be in receipt of a UAE driving license
