Conduct career counseling to students by finding out their interests, favorite subjects, interesting careers and universities for students from Grades 10 to 12; 4. Assist in Grade 10 students with their subject choices considering their desired major and universities; 5. Organize Grade 11 and 12 one-on-one career counseling interviews; 6. Assist the Marketing Department in organizing the University Fair; 13. Ensure all cases are noted; 14. Ensure all cases are kept confidential; 15. Write students’ reference letter in a timely manner (5 - 10 working days); 16. Set up deadlines for the checking of personal statements and motivational letters; 17. Send weekly Career and university updates on Managebac to students from Grades 10 to 12 only if there is no Junior Career counselor; 18. Introduce the BridgeU platform to Grade 9 students and maintain students’ accounts and that students are doing their university research in coming up with their long, and short list as well as sending announcements to students. 1. Interview students to find the right fit internship and ensure that they have the academic ability to do the internship program; 2. Post job postings on managebac for students to apply to their internships; 3. Organize the Orientation Program for students to be ready for their internship program; 4. Liaise with companies to find out about the job duties and expectations; 5. Reach out to company representatives to ensure students have been evaluated; 6. Organize and maintain job documents (MOU, evaluations, job descriptions, etc); Admin and Teachers: 1. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to help students succeed; 2. Closely work with IB coordinator to find out of students who would like to transfer from DP to certificate or switch subjects; 3. Communicate with administrators regarding the organizing of major events such as University Fair, Career Days and workshops; Internal: 1. Collaborate with the Senior and Junior Socio Emotional counselor in conducting the interviews for the IB preparation of Grade 10 students; 2. Assist the Marketing Department in organizing annual events such as University Fair and Career Day; 3. Active in organizations such as NISC (Network of International School Counselors), ACAC etc; 4. Maintain close contact with embassy representatives; 5. Liaise with university representatives in conducting workshops; 6. Update coordinator as needed; 7. Assist coordinator in the training of Junior Career Counselors; 8. Assist coordinator in conducting interviews for Career Counselors.
